As an RN working in home health and previously in ICU, I depend on an accurate pulse ox every day. I carried around a bulky wired 0 pulse ox for the first 2 years & was very disappointed in battery life and accuracy. This little pulse ox is awesome. It accurately measures COPD patients (compared to their Nonin pulse ox), has a prompt response time, & even gave an accurate reading on a Ca patient who had just come out of the hospital & had difficulty with getting the pulse ox to read the whole time he was in. A huge benefit is the prompt auto-off within seconds – great battery saver.
